Baseball is the most popular sprot game in Korea. Korean baseball season starts on April, and ends on October. Samsung, LG, Lotte, Hanwha, Doosan, NC, Nexen, KIA, KT, and SK, these 10 teams compete in the league for the title.
Among the professional baseball teams, Samsung Lions has their base in Daegu. For the loving home fans/supporters, a new baseball stadium, Samsung Lions Park, is under the construction. Samsung Lions Park will be the new home stadium for Samsung Lions and their fans from the following 2016 season.
Replacing the old stadium, which is one of the oldest stadium in Korea, Samsung Lions Park will provide much convenience to the fans.
